Lincolnview upgrades baseball and softball batting cages

The Lincolnview Athletic Boosters, Lincolnview Board of Education, and Lincolnview Athletic Department recently completed an upgrade to the outdoor baseball and softball batting cages. New nets, posts, concrete, rubber mats, L-screens and hitting mats replaced the old batting cages. Bill Evans and Brad Coil provided the labor, working with Friedrich Concrete and K&L Ready Mix.

Lancers hang on for 6-5 victory over Knights

Lincolnview defeated Crestview 6-5 on Monday night to improve to 4-3 on the summer season. A bases loaded walk to Carson Bowen in the bottom of the 5th gave Lincolnview a seemingly safe 6-1 lead; however, the Knights would battle back with 4 runs in the top of the 6th, taking advantage of several walks

Lincolnview baseball bounces back with 3-1 win

Like their softball counterparts, the Lancer baseball team hosted the Wayne Trace Raiders Thursday night, picking up a 3-1 victory. Gavin Carter went the distance on the mound for Lincolnview, and Clayton Leeth drove in two runs with a homerun and single. The Lancers are now 3-2 and will play at Jefferson Friday night.

Cougars blank Lancers 14-0

Van Wert dominated from start to finish, scoring runs in every inning except the first. The Cougars put up 8 runs in the 4th and 4 runs in the 5th. Lincolnview collected 2 hits on the night.  

Lancers pick up road win at Crestview

Lincolnview moved to 2-0 on the summer baseball season defeating Crestview 11-1 in Convoy. The Lancer baseball team began summer play with a 11-5 victory over Delphos Jefferson Monday evening. Leading the way offensively were Dane Ebel, two hits and two RBI, Cole Binkley, two hits, Jared Kesler, two RBI, and Collin Overholt, triple. OHSSA cancels spring sports due to Ohio school closures

5 Lancer baseball players earn Prep Baseball Report recognition

Despite CoVid 19’s defeat of the 2020 spring sports season, five Lincolnview baseball players were recognized by Prep Baseball Report as pre-season All State players.
